That’s Triumph Factory Custom

Folks seem pretty pumped about the upcoming Triumph Rocket III, and now they have something else to get all fired up about. The Triumph Concept Rocket TFC (Triumph Factory Custom).

According to Motorcycle.com, Triumph sent out the image above and a short message. The message said the following about the Concept Rocket TFC:

  • The concept for the next TFC model is an all-new Rocket TFC, the ultimate motorcycle
  • The world’s largest production motorcycle engine transformed
  • Full details and launch to follow on May 1, 2019

That’s not a ton of information, but it the promise of a full launch and all the wonderful details about this bike gets me really excited.

In case you don’t know about the Triumph Factory Custom line that Triumph is doing, I’ll explain. It’s a premium run of special edition motorcycles. The company adds special equipment to the bikes and some performance enhancements.

A new regular version of the Rocket III should come sometime this year. When it does it’ll come packing somewhere around 2500cc in three cylinders and a ton of power. It could have more than 180 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque, according to Motorcycle News.

I’ll keep an eye out for any more news on this model. It looks fantastic, and the TFC version will be the most awesome Rocket ever produced.

2500 CCs? Bigger isn’t always better unless you are the village slut.

The current Rocket III has a 2294cc engine, so the bump isn’t too dramatic. That said, it is a stupid big engine for a motorcycle.
