Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

KBC Tarmac Radiation Motorcycle Helmet The KBC Tarmac is the most basic helmet offered by KBC. But it’s comfortable and it includes some interesting features. It also feels solid with good build quality. It meets both DOT and Snell safety standards, rare at this price. It’s New Year’s Eve and this will be our last …

The Urban Helmet for Urbanites The N350 Moto is a high quality helmet at a very reasonable price. Part 1 of our look at the new URBAN line of motorcycle helmets covered the URBAN N20 Astro, an excellent value for the money. The full-face N20 Astro features outstanding quality, which is especially noteworthy for a brand-new helmet …

The Oxford Digi Gauge Now you may be asking yourself “Self, is this yet another webBikeWorld digital tire pressure gauge review?” Good question! And the answer is: because we still haven’t found the perfect tire pressure gauge. After all’s said and done, the original Roadgear digital tire pressure gauge (review) is the one that gets used most …

GT100 Fuel Filter Fix   Summary The Ducati GT1000 was recalled for a loose fuel line hose clamp. Here’s how to do it yourself. Introduction Like many other GT1000 owners, I received the official recall notice from Ducati last week. But also like many other Ducati owners, the closest “local” dealer is 30-odd miles away. …

KBC Force RR Motorcycle Helmet Visitor feedback tells us that KBC helmets are ultra-popular — every time we review one, you ask for more. We reviewed the KBC VR-1 (review), the KBC VR-2 (review), the KBC VR-3 (review) and the KBC FFR (review) flip-up. But that wasn’t enough; now you want the Force RR! No Problemo!  But…I’m not sure why there …

Xtreme Charge Battery Charger Review Lightweight and sealed vinyl case and all sorts of blinking lights. Does it charge a battery any faster or better than anything else? Who knows… Motorcycles sleeping away in the garage, cozy and blissful, tucked under their comfy flannel sheet covers. Ahhh, a peaceful sight!  Their little batteries are carefully …

Olympia Phantom One-Piece Suit Review The Phantom is a comfortable one-piece suit with removable one-piece, full-length insulating liner.  It’s claimed to be waterproof and it’s loaded with features at a price that begs the question “How’d they do that?”. It’s funny how price affects the perception of quality.  Spend $500 on a helmet and you’re …

BMG Pioneer Pants Robust all-around motorcycle pants with removable insulating liner. Slightly higher than normal waist provides good lower back coverage. Perfect match for the Challenger jacket we reviewed just a couple of weeks ago. The “classic” Belstaff motorcycle clothing line has been sold and distributed in the U.S.A. by British Motorcycle Gear for several years. …

Racer Supply RSC2 Gloves Review Visitors send us many different suggestions for products to review. Some of the ideas work out pretty well, while others are a flop. The time it takes to order the product, run the evaluation, write the article and get it published can vary from days to weeks, depending on the schedule, and …

Another Paint Protection Film Solution Ah, the joys of owning a brand new motorcycle, free of scratches, nicks, and chips! You can feel the approval of other riders and the envy from those who have yet to be enlightened. You worked hard to afford it and you want to keep the paint clean and sparkling. …

The Parking Puck Side Stand Plate The Parking Puck is an interesting non-slip device helps prevent motorcycle tip-overs. What do you call these things? In the old days, we’d use a flattened soda can to place under the motorcycle’s side stand. Who knows how today’s cans would work — the aluminum they use is so …

Scorpion EXO-1000 Helmet Scorpion announced the new EXO-1000 motorcycle helmet today at the 2007 Powersports Dealer Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana (see the wBW report from the show). The EXO-1000 is Scorpion’s new flagship helmet, replacing the EXO-700, a successful helmet which will remain in the lineup. The EXO-1000 features a unique an innovative cheek pad …

The World’s First “Jet” Styled Helmet? Here’s my prediction: you’re looking at the next big thing in motorcycle helmets. I realize I’m going out on a limb here, because not everyone is into what could be called “Jet” or “Scooter Style” helmets. But they’re becoming hugely popular in Europe and just about everywhere else in …

The URBAN N20 Astro UPDATE: As of December 2010, Urban Helmets is apparently no longer in business.
