Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Joe Rocket Phoenix 3.0 Motorcycle Gloves We counted 18 different pairs of Joe Rocket motorcycle gloves available for sale in their 2007 catalog. The list includes everything from full race gloves (Speedmaster 6.0) to Supermoto gloves and everything in between. Joe Rocket has settled on a few different branded clothing lines. These include the “Speedmaster”, …

Alpinestars Sledge Motorcycle Gloves Not the favorite pair in this comparison The Alpinestars Sledge Street Sport Riding Gloves are one of many different styles of motorcycle gloves offered by Alpinestars. The “Sledge” model is new for 2007; apparently, it’s so new, it hasn’t even shown up on their website as this article was published. The …

Joe Rocket Atomic 2.0 Motorcycle Gloves It’s interesting to note that the list price of the Joe Rocket Atomic 2.0 gloves is $10.00 less than the Joe Rocket Phoenix 3.0 gloves. We’re not sure where the Atomic line fits in the Joe Rocket line, but you’d think that for 10 bucks less you’d get less leather …

REV’IT! Monster Motorcycle Gloves The REV’IT! Solar mesh gloves are a summer favorite around here, with just the right combination of air flow and comfort. The Solar gloves were revised last year to incorporate goatskin, giving them a broken-in feel right out of the box. REV’IT! has developed a huge selection of clothing over the years. Their …

Fulmer’s High-End Helmet The Fulmer AFS7 is relatively quiet, which is a surprise. It’s also pretty comfortable with a “Neutral” internal shape that tends towards “Round”. It has a removable liner and a quick release face shield. The graphics are interesting and nicely done, especially considering price. The AFS7 also meets DOT and Snell standards. …

Nolan N-102 Flip-up Helmet Good modular helmet for riders with round-shaped heads looking for a solid, feature rich modular should be well pleased with the Nolan N102. If you’re sensitive to weight or price, you may want to look elsewhere. The Nolan N-102 helmet is a feature rich big brother to the Nolan X-Lite X-1002 …

HJC FS-Max: The Next Sy-Max? Average modular helmet with no real outstanding features. Includes an internal sun shade. Relatively quiet with comfortable liner. New and unique type of face shield removal mechanism. Our example had some quality flaws. This helmet in size XL is very heavy. NOTE: See our review of the HJC Sy-Max II, which is …

Becka Coolwear Motorcycle Underwear Review Thicker fabric than most polyester-only wicking under garments. Definitely transfers moisture away from the rider’s body. This helps to make leathers or textile garments more comfortable to wear in hot weather. It seems counterintuitive to wear a full-length “Long John” under garment in the summer to keep cool. I can …

Squire Motorcycle Wheel Lock Big “D” shaped lock is about as hefty as they get. Probably wouldn’t completely stop a thief, but it should slow them down for a while. The folks at Squire Locks read our review of the Squire ML2L Motorcycle Disc Lock and sent us this monster Paramount Plus wheel lock to …

REV’IT! Infinity One-Piece Suit REV’IT! Infinity Suit Announced for U.S. Market The folks at REV’IT! are always hard at work, updating and releasing new products about as fast as anyone in the industry.  They usually have some interesting new motorcycle clothing announcements at the Indy show and this year was no exception. You really need …

REV’IT! Off Track Jacket and Dakar Pants I think we can safely credit BMW with popularizing the Adventure Touring or Enduro styling movement way back in 1980. I’m not saying that BMW started the fad; in fact, this type of motorcycle, which is a sort of two-wheel equivalent of an SUV, has one of the oldest legacies …

Glare Sahara Waterless Cleaner and Polish Review Interesting waterless cleaner, polish and wax combined into one product. Works very well when used as directed. Saves time and provides an outstanding finish. Our friends at Ultra 2000 have been at it again. First, they brought us Glare Professional Polish (review). Then it was Glare Spider (review). And now …

Teknic Road Iron Motorcycle Gloves The Teknic Road Iron Gloves (also known as the Teknic “Iron Road” Gloves) are an interesting entry for 2007 in the summer glove market. While Teknic markets the gloves in their “Cruiser Highway” collection for 2007, this glove is sure to be popular with more than just the bad-ass Big Twin …
