Ducati’s Big Scrambler: The Scrambler 1100 / 1100 Pro

The Scrambler 1100 is the largest displacement Scrambler model in the 2021 Ducati line-up. Over the years, the Scrambler platform has evolved into one of Ducati motorcycle’s most loved sub-brands, spawning a wide range of Scrambler models in varying shapes, sizes, and aesthetics. For 2021, the Scrambler 1100 receives no upgrades over last year.

That means that this Italian-made motorcycle is still powered by the same tried and tested 1,079cc Desmodromic L-twin engine that produces 86 horsepower and 65 lb-ft of peak torque. It also features the same top-notch electronics suite with useful riding aids that include Ride-by-Wire, selectable rider modes, a power mode, traction control, and cornering ABS as standard.

Other nice features include plush Marzocchi forks, a Kayaba rear shock, stylish machined 10-spoke wheels, Brembo brakes, LED lighting, and LCD instrumentation. Despite its simple nature, the Scrambler 1100 offers quite a lot. It’s a stripped-down Scrambler with more features than you’d expect, and a stylish aesthetic too.

Ducati also has the Scrambler 1100 Pro on the books for 2021. It features a different exhaust and a number of other small aesthetic upgrades.

For 2021, the Scrambler 1100 is available exclusively in either “62 Yellow” or “Shining Black” color options. The Scrambler 1100 Pro is available with a new two-tone “Ocean Drive” scheme for the new year.

The 2021 Ducati Scrambler 1100 starts from $12,995 USD / $15,495 CAD.
