2020 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE
Contents
The 2020 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE is an interesting motorcycle, coming from the strangest of marriages. The styling, frame, and most of the equipment from the Street Scrambler. The engine from the Bonneville T120. Put them together, and you have the Scrambler 1200.
The Scrambler 1200 XE gets the 1200cc parallel twin that all Bonnevilles use, tuned to produce 90 HP and 81 lbs-ft of torque. The XE in the name, however, hints at what the bike is designed to do: Exploration.
This is a civil bike on the street, but with the raised ride height, long distance travel in both front and rear suspension, and the addition of an engine guarding bash plate on the bottom of the frame, this motorcycle craves to scramble down some rough roads, or across places where there are no roads.
The 2020 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE starts at $15,400 US/$16,300 CDN.
