A Pricey Machine
MV Agusta has made headlines recently for its controversial advertising. However, the brand isn’t focused solely on controversial sexy ads. The company is still making awesome-looking Italian motorcycles. The Brutale 1000 Serie Oro is one of them. The bike is essentially a naked superbike. It’s gorgeous and now we have a price for it at $45,998. That’s a lot of money.
There’s no doubt in my mind that some folks will find the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro worth the money. I think that’s far too much to pay for a motorcycle, but somebody somewhere will be willing to fork over that kind of money. The bike features the MV Agusta F4 engine. MV Agusta took that engine and crammed it into the naked motorcycle frame. This results in a gorgeous motorcycle with 205 hp and a top speed of 187 mph, according to Asphalt & Rubber.
Only 300 of the model will be made, which is the same number of Superveloce 800 motorcycles the company plans to make. It will be interesting to see if MV Agusta doubles down on its advertising and makes a controversial, sexy video advertisement for this bike as well. If it does, you can expect just as much outrage as last time.
That Advertisement might have been a bit over the top. But let’s face it, motorcycles are sexy. I wonder if the reaction would have been as strong if she had been fully geared up in race leathers and had a helmet on? Maybe they could try that approach on the next one. \’-)
