This book was developed by Police motorcycle trainers in the U.K., with input from police riders, trainees and civilians. It is used to train Police motorcycle riders in the U.K.

It is similar to a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Motorcycle Rider Course in content, but it has some very useful information that provides a different take on the basics from the MSF courses in the U.S.A..

This is the type of book that can (and should) be used as a reference and should be re-read during those cold winter months of limited riding.

Chapters include: Becoming a Better Rider and The System of Motorcycle Control.

Also included are chapters on Observation, Acceleration, Using Gears and Braking and Cornering.

Finally, there’s Balance and Avoiding Skids, Signals, Positioning, Overtaking, Motorway Riding and Speed and Safety.
