Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Motorcycle Tool Tube Stash Box As I mentioned in my Motorcycle License Plate Stash Box review, there’s a serious lack of places to mount, store or hide things on my 2003 Suzuki DR-Z400S. This is a big difference compared to my other adventure bike, the 2002 BMW R 1150 GS (report). One big question with the Suzuki …

Stash Box for the Suzuki DR-Z400S When I purchased my 2003 Suzuki DR-Z400S, it never entered my mind where I would store the registration and insurance card on the bike. On all of my previous and current, bikes there has always been a convenient, secure place to keep that sort of paperwork, either under the …

Hillside Leather Jacket Review I just got back from a trip to the Grand Canyon that is 2,630 miles round trip from Magnolia, Texas. 2,630 miles in 6 days plus an extra day touring the Grand Canyon park — not bad for a 71 year old guy! The Hillside jacket worked as advertised. I rode in temperatures …

UClear WT300 “Spider” Bluetooth Adapter Review An excellent universal Bluetooth audio adapter, the UClear WT300 “Spider” streams stereo sound from any connected device. It also connects a two-way radio with your motorcycle Bluetooth intercom system. The WT300 kit comes with a wireless Push-to-Talk (PTT) controller that can be attached to the handlebar or elsewhere. The …

Airoh J106 Helmet Review The Airoh J106 is a true modular motorcycle helmet that can be converted from full-face to open-face in an instant. It is dual homologated, meeting the ECE 22.05 P and J safety standards to be worn in either configuration whilst riding a motorcycle. The J106 is very light, with a thin …

AGV and Dainese 2012 Summer Style Series: The new AGV Grid helmet is an update of the popular AGV T-2 (review). The Grid evolves some of the familiar T-2 features, including that low-profile chin vent with excellent air flow, a “semi-race” fit and excellent overall quality and feel. The helmet shell is made from a combination …

Dainese “Aspide” Jacket Review The Dainese Aspide jacket is new for 2012. It is a lighter-weight motorcycle jacket designed to provide good air flow with decent protection and a lot of style. The Aspide is not a mesh jacket, but the special Cordura fabric provides excellent air flow. Protection includes EC Level 1 shoulder and …

Dainese “Air Frame” Jacket Review The Dainese Air Frame jacket is also new for 2012. The Air Frame is a lighter-weight motorcycle jacket designed to provide excellent air flow with protective features and style. It provides maximum air flow due to the type of open-weave mesh used in the jacket shell. The jacket also includes …

AGV “K-4 EVO” Helmet Review The AGV K4 EVO is the 2012 update of the AGV K-4, which was an evolution of the AGV K-3 (review) from 2010. The K4 EVO has an upgraded liner and padding system that uses a new “skin friendly” fabric. The weight has also been reduced and the quality has been improved. …

MOTO-D Summer Undersuit Review The MOTO-D summer undersuit is a surprisingly comfortable and very stretchy liner for leathers, textile or other riding gear. It makes climbing into and out of leathers a lot easier and it reduces chafing. Works just as well under a textile street jacket and pants outfit and it’s surprisingly cool and …

Built-in Spats for Asphalt Style The Dainese Asphalt shoes are comfortable, stylish and comfortable. But, wide feet may not fit. A few of the safety and protective features have been borrowed from Dainese race boots, a nice surprise. They’re also a great match for the Dainese Druids gloves and the rest of the AGV and …

Dainese D1 Kevlar Jeans Review The Dainese D1 Kevlar jeans feature a heavyweight blend of denim with Kevlar fibers incorporated into the weave. Additional abrasion protection is provided in the form of “Kevlar Jersey” knitted fabric in the crotch and hips. The D1 Kevlar jeans have a lot of style and the cut is shaded …

BikeVis Bullets V2 LED Running Lights The new BikeVis Bullets V2 are claimed to be twice as bright as the originals. And the original BikeVis Bullets LED running lights are still one of our favorite motorcycle accessories. The V2 Bullets are the same size as the originals, but an upgraded LED light and a tweaked …

Nolan N85 Helmet Review The new Nolan N85 is something like a full-face version of the popular Nolan N104 (review). It has the same high levels of quality we’ve come to expect from Nolan and it has all the features expected in a high-end street/sport helmet. But the single most amazing feature of the N85 is …

Dainese “Druids” Gloves Review The Dainese Druids gloves are a street-sport type that is lightweight and with high levels of protection. Features include a large knuckle protector, carbon fiber sliders over the secondary knuckles and TPU protectors on the outside of the hand. The quality level is high and the Druids gloves come in a variety of …
