Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Forcefield Sport Lite 2 Back Protector The new Forcefield Sport Lite 2 back protector has a thin profile and it’s comfortable, while still providing EC Level 2 protection. The overall design is similar to the Pro Sub 4, but the Sport Lite 2 back protector is about 30% thinner. It also has a slightly different …

Clover Crossover Airbag Jacket Preview The new 2013 Clover Crossover jacket was announced at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany this week. The Crossover is the first three-layer jacket in the world that is equipped with a CE Level 2 (EN 1621-4) airbag back protector. The airbag meets CE Level 2 standards and it …

Sony Action Cam Review The Sony Action Cam is yet another new entry in the burgeoning motorcycle video camera market. It’s available with or without WiFi and a waterproof housing is supplied with either kit. The camera can take video at either a 120 or 170 degree lens setting and slow-motion video at 60 and …

Vertix Raptor-i Intercom Review The Vertix Raptor-i is a new motorcycle intercom from a wireless technology company based in Singapore. The Vertix Raptor-i delivers all of the features expected of a “new generation” Bluetooth device at a competitive price. Plus, it has some very interesting add-ons in the pipeline… Keeping tabs on the motorcycle intercom …

Sena SM10 Stereo Bluetooth Transmitter Review The Sena SM10 Dual Stream Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter is a timely and cost effective solution that allows both a rider and passenger to share audio from connected devices. This includes portable music players, navigation and radar warning devices and even wired motorcycle sound systems. Basically anything that has a …

Nolan N43E Owner Report The Nolan N43 “Air” (review) was originally reviewed in 2009 here on webBikeWorld. The newest version is called the N43E. I am not going to completely re-review the helmet overall, as a majority of the helmet is the same. So feel free to re-read the original review for all the details. My feeling is that …

Arai CT-Z Helmet Review The new Arai CT-Z is an evolution of the Arai XC RAM version of the Arai XC open-face helmet. The CT-Z is a typical Arai helmet, with outstanding build quality…and a high price. It’s a cross between an open-face and dual-sport helmet, with some full-face and trials helmet features sprinkled in …

Handlebar End Weight Choices There are probably as many different motorcycle handlebar end weights and caps as there are handlebars. Or more. This topic was last covered on webBikeWorld way back in September of 2007 in the Manic Salamander Handlebar End Weights review. At that time, I was installing a new set of handlebar end weights …

U.S. General Motorcycle Stand – Wheel Chock Review The U.S. General Motorcycle Stand is a simple and sturdy stand and wheel chock that lacks refinement and some adjustability. Some steps may need to be taken to secure it if used in free-standing mode. It is convertible from a wheel stand to a motorcycle front wheel …

Waterproof Dive Light With a Twist Top? The Princeton Tec Impact XL LED flashlight is nearly perfect for the toolbox or EDC (Every Day Carry) on the motorcycle. It’s rugged, it’s Level 3 waterproof to 100 meters and it’s UL approved. It’s also made in the U.S.A and carries a lifetime warranty — one of …

Micatech Pack Rack Review and Micatech Top Case Review Like my earlier wBW review of the Micatech Roof Racks (review), this submission is also long overdue… Unless I use the excuse that it was meant to be a long term evaluation of course! Short and sweet: the Micatech Pack Rack, when used alone or with the …

Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 Jacket Review The Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket is, as its name implies, the fifth generation of what was once a ground-breaking design. But time has moved on and the Phoenix jacket hasn’t really improved as much as I’d hoped and expected. It still flows a huge amount of air. And …

TCX “X-Cube” Waterproof Boots The TCX X-Cube boots are available in waterproof and “Air” versions. These are comfortable mid-height boots with a short-boot look. But they provide more protection than many shorter motorcycle boots, especially around the ankles. The X-Cube boots also have very nice styling and detailing, with complete double stitching used throughout. The …

DuPont Chain Saver Now in Travel Size Sometimes, you do get what you wish for. Back in 2012, when DuPont Chain Saver chain lube (review) was introduced, I suggested they make a smaller travel size for motorcyclists. Finish Line Technologies, who manufacturers and distributes the DuPont chain lube products, went to work on the idea. We had …

Caberg Justissimo GT Helmet Review The Caberg Justissimo has been in production probably longer than any other motorcycle helmet. It’s approaching a ten year anniversary and it’s still a very popular helmet. Continuous improvements and evolution through the years have kept it fresh. The current iteration, the Justissimo GT, is still one of the best-looking …
