Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Gaerne Off-Road Boots Review – Part 2 Introduction to Part 2 A promise made and although a tad overdue, a promise fulfilled: Part 2 of our Gaerne GX-1, SG10 and SG12 off-road boots review. Overlap “Manx” Kevlar Jeans Review The Overlap Manx jeans may have hit the perfect formula for motorcycle jeans that look good on the street. They look as good as any street jeans and they’re very soft and very comfortable. The Manx jeans arrive fully broken-in, with that worn look that gives ’em lots of character. …

Racer “Guide” Gloves Review The Racer “Guide” Gloves have a short gauntlet and perforated sections for cooler summer riding. The gloves also feature Clarino and goat hide palms and large Knox scaphoid protectors (sliders). The nylon tricot lining is attached using the “mcFIT” (Maximum Comfort Fit Technology) system described in detail in our introduction to the VQuattro gloves review. Perforations …

Racer “Mickey” Gloves Review The Racer “Mickey” Gloves are another short gauntlet summer type but with more protective features than the Racer Guide gloves (review). The most prominent feature of the Mickey gloves is the large bifurcated Superfabric-covered main knuckle protector. Another Superfabric-covered slider protects the scaphoid. Only the top of the inside of the gloves has a liner; …

Racer “Summer Fit” Gloves Review The Racer “Summer Fit” Gloves have a 100% leather (goat skin) outer shell and a full-sized gauntlet. The goat skin makes these gloves lightweight and comfortable. Soft padding knuckle protectors means the gloves are very flexible, another plus for hot-weather riding. The palms are lined with Kevlar and the Summer Fit gloves …

Shoei J-Cruise Helmet Review The new Shoei J-Cruise replaces the popular and long-lived Shoei J-Wing helmet. The J-Cruise feels just like a full-face helmet…but without a chin bar. Changing the Oil and Filter on the BMW C 650 GT I finally got around to changing the oil and filter on the C 650 GT and here’s my report. It’s a relatively easy job, with no surprises. It would be nice if BMW had a shop manual though; I don’t know the torque values …
