Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Fire and Water: It’s Elemental! Take your basic Icon Airmada helmet, pump it up to levels previously unknown in motorcycle-land and you have the Icon Airmada Elemental. The Airmada has been a very popular helmet for Icon, offering a lot of go for not much dough. It’s available in solid colors and a cornucopia of …

REV’IT! Flatbush Jacket: Urban Street Style With Protection The REV’IT! Flatbush jacket is a modern take on a motorcycle classic. It is made from a soft and supple full grain cowhide with an “understated simple” design theme. But underneath that unadorned exterior lies SAS-Tech shoulder and elbow “armor” for serious protection. The Flatbush jacket can also fit …

Sidi Mag-1 Motorcycle Boots The new Sidi Mag-1 boots are top-of-the-line race boots loaded with technology and new features. They’re sort of a slimmed-down evolution of the Sidi Vortice boots (review) but made lighter (claimed 17%), much easier to wear and they’re also very comfortable, even for street use. New features include a redesigned “Tecno-3” ratcheting micrometric …

Resurgence Gear PEKEV Women’s Jeans The Resurgence Gear PEKEV women’s jeans are durable motorcycle jeans with nice protective features. Be careful when choosing a size and definitely check the quality on the pair you are buying. The first time I rode a motorcycle, I was wearing a pair of regular women’s jeans. I associate jeans …

Tucano Urbano “Calamaro” Gloves Review It is seldom the season for mesh gloves in London; mine get so little wear I’ve been using the same ones since 2005. But occasionally it is time for something a little lighter, so I gave the Tucano Urbano Calamaro a try. With their leather palm and light textile upper, they looked …

Metzeler Tourance Next Motorcycle Tire Review The Metzeler Tourance Next tires are a 90/10 street/dirt tire for large dual-sport motorcycles. Metzeler claims improved wet grip and stability from previous Tourance tire versions and the Tourance Next rear has a dual compound. The Metzeler Tourance Next tires have noticeably faster turn-in and side-to-side transitioning than the …

Racer “Queens” Women’s Leather Motorcycle Gloves The Racer Queens gloves are made from black goat leather with a light pink liner. The design is feminine with functionality at its heart. Right from the package, the gloves fit well and have remained comfortable. While not without some shortfalls, the Queens gloves represent good value, like most …

Nexx XR2 Helmet Review The Nexx XR2 sits between the popular Nexx XR1R and the top-of-the-line Nexx X.T1 helmet in the 2014 product line. The XR2 updates the XR1R to bring it into the mainstream and it’s a definite improvement from the first XR1R we reviewed back in 2009, a revolutionary helmet that wasn’t without …

HeliBars Horizon Adjustable Handlebars for the Victory Cross Country Tour The HeliBars Horizon series of replacement handlebars are adjustable for various combinations of reach, height, and wrist angle. They are also available for many different motorcycles. Unlike stock handlebars and most other aftermarket handlebars, the Horizon series provide an ergonomically tailored fit and that fit …

Mounting Stebel Magnum Horns on the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS Most motorcycles come with a ridiculously lame kid’s toy sounding horn and the new Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS is no different. The big V-Strom was fitted with a single disk type horn with that familiar “meeeep” sound that gets nothing but laughs on the road. …

Take 3: The Fix 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS Review: Part 3 A fix has been found for the V-Strom’s ridiculously bad throttle response. I blasted the new V-Strom 1000 ABS in my Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS “First Impressions” and then again in the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS review. In my opinion, the bike has three main problems. …

Nebo Mult-Tools Come In Handy The Nebo Tools multi-purpose tools are handy items for motorcycle emergency repair or travel. The 13-in-1 Screwdriver has 12 bits plus a 6 mm hex driver in the handle, and the tool has a ratcheting head. The 7-in-1 Socket Wrench has 1/4″ drive sockets in the handle, which also ratchets. …

Pivot Pegz Rotating Foot Pegs Pivot Pegz are acessory foot pegs for off-road or dual-sport motorcycles. They rotate forward and back and they are spring-loaded but they automatically center for normal riding. This provides a certain amount of shock absorption, which is useful when riding off-road. The Pivot Pegz concept is pretty simple and the execution …

Dainese Long Range D-WP C2 Boots Review A high-quality pair of street/touring boots that are a good value even at its price point. Definitely worth a look for the serious touring or sport/touring rider. Motorcycle boots have a hard life. Not only are they asked to provide protection from impacts, abrasion and the elements they …

SCHUBERTH SRC System for the C3 Pro and S2 Helmets The SCHUBERTH SRC-S (SCHUBERTH Rider Communications System) is an updated intercom. It fits the SCHUBERTH C3 Pro (review) and the SRC for theSCHUBERTH S2 (review). Both of those, in turn were an update for the original SRC we reviewed in 2010 for the SCHUBERTH C3 (review).. Wow! That’s a big …
