Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Remote Lens With Continuous Recording Option The INNOVV C3 action camera is a bit different from some of the other motorcycle video cameras we have reviewed on webBikeWorld. This one separates the camera body or “brain” from the lens with a 1.5 meter long cable. The C3 comes with a 120-degree wide angle lens and a narrower …

Does the Power Tip P1 Reduce Sound Output of a Two Brothers Exhaust?  The P1 Power Tip is claimed to reduce sound levels by 3 to 4 dB when mounted to the stock M2 exhaust. We weren’t able to substantiate that claim. We reviewed a Two Brothers M2 Carbon Fiber exhaust recently and concluded that …

The Two Brothers P1X Tames the Beast The P1X Power Tip does what is claimed. It reduced the sound level by nearly 10 dB from the stock Two Brothers M2 carbon fiber exhaust. This didn’t start out to be a three-part review but one never knows what the future will bring. We received so many …

A Portable Motorcycle Lift for Chain Lubes The Snapjack is a portable motorcycle jack or lift for use during travel. It lifts the rear of the bike enough to rotate the wheel for chain cleaning and/or a quick chain lube. If you have a center stand, you don’t need a Snapjack and in the garage, …

Make Your Gloves Touch-Sensitive Nanotips is claimed to be “the world’s first liquid solution that can make any glove touchscreen compatible”. There’s not much to it… Spread Nanotips on a glove fingertip, let it dry overnight or blast it with a hair dryer for a couple of minutes and you’re good to go. Not without …

Micro Power Supply Charges Your Devices or Jump-Starts the Bike Think of the Quick Cable iStart Li-Ion Power Pack as a  power source for peace of mind. Fitting nicely in the hand, this powerful compact power supply is one of the most versatile and valuable tools one could hope to have for home and travel. …

Moto Style, Technology for Winter Street Adventures The Joe Rocket Crew Cold Weather Jacket (the official name) brings motorcycle clothing technology to the street. I’ve been wearing mine this winter and it does an excellent job at keeping Mr. Freeze under control. The styling is what might be called “sport adventure” that suits just about …

Outstanding Video Quality and Ease of Use The ReplayXD Prime X has the same low-profile form-factor as the ReplayXD 1080 reviewed on webBikeWorld in 2011. That camera won a webBikeWorld Motorcycle Product of the Year Award in 2011. The rugged aluminum tube shape and easy-to-use format remains and the Prime X version has a “Hyperion CinePrime X Lens” …

Waterproof, Warm and Protective Winter Gloves If you’re looking for winter motorcycle gloves that won’t break the bank but will do everything a more expensive pair will, then it’s time to look at the Richa Arctic gloves. I have been wearing them over the past two months and have found them to be waterproof and …

Mitas Announces Sport Force+ Motorcycle Tires January 30, 2015 (Press release edited by webBikeWorld.com) – Mitas is “one of Europe’s leading producers of agricultural tyres” and they make motorcycle tires under the Mitas name. They also make tires for Continental. The company has factories in the Czech Republic, Serbia and one in the USA. The …

The Arai Signet-Q Gets the Pro Tour Treatment Arai has a couple of new options this year; the popular Arai Signet-Q (review) gets a “Pro Tour” option and 2014’s Arai Defiant (review) also has a doppelgänger, with the Defiant Pro Cruise version. The Pro Tour and Pro Cruise treatments include the Arai Pro Shade sun visor (review), fitted to the SAI …

A Helmet for the Rest of Us Round-heads, narrow-heads and anyone else with a head shape way out on the ± 2σ and beyond tails, rejoice! The impossible is possible and you too can have custom-fitted motorcycle helmet of your very own. All you need is money — lots of it — and an appointment …

Part 4: The Clearwater LED Brake/Tail Light and Conclusion This Clearwater LED brake light prototype is the latest LED product that will be added to the CANopener system architecture. Thus, the CANopener now provides management of front and rear-facing auxiliary lights. Unless otherwise programmed (see below), the auxiliary LED tail light is always on, with …

The Ultimate Motorcycle Helmet? I had a wonderful dream… The FedEx driver knocks on the door and hands over two 16x13x13″ brown boxes — a size immediately identifiable as the standard shipping container for a motorcycle helmet. The light-as-a-feather boxes drift into the kitchen and a knife appears in my hand. I choose one and …

A New Year Brings New Gear and REV’IT! Updates I’ve been closely following REV’IT! since the Netherlands-based company first started selling motorcycle clothing in the U.S. over a decade ago. This has provided me with a unique perspective in learning how the various products evolve over time. For example, the original REV’IT! Cayenne jacket (review) from 2005 …
