Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

World’s First Mobile TV for Motorcycles The Ride-N-Watch motorcycle TV system is claimed to be “The World’s First Onboard TV System for Motorcycle Riders”. Urban Style Gloves Are Waterproof and Comfy The new Spidi Avant Garde gloves are about as comfy as you’ll get in a motorcycle glove. The leather is super-soft sheep and goat hide with dress glove feel. The interior is lined with soft and fluffy micro-fleece, just like ski gloves. But don’t let the looks fool …

X Marks the Spot! The Shoei X-Fourteen is here! It’s a radical new helmet design and it looks the part. As a Shoei helmet, the build quality, paint and graphics are, of course, superb. The radical design features include a multi-part interior that takes owner customization and fit to a new level. The interior can …

Don’t Forget the Shins Fits under loose jeans and most leather or textile motorcycle riding pants. Probably offers better protection than most original equipment padding or thin armor. It surely fits better so you may want to toss the cheap armor that came with your pants and use this instead. In our journey of truth …

Fitting the BMW Engine Guards to the S1000XR The BMW Engine Guards are a good accessory for the S1000XR. The bike is getting mixed road use and I can use all the extra protection possible. That includes the multiple R&G protective accessory kits that been installed so far and more in process. Like the S1000XR …

Quiet and Clean Radiant Heat for the Garage The Mr. Heater “Big Buddy” propane radiant heater is a portable “clean” burning solution for cold spaces. It isn’t perfect and it’s a bit scary to use, but it does output a good amount of heat. The heat output is about equal to the Dynaglo kerosene tower …

City Street Stealth The Spidi Master Combat jacket is another brand-new design for 2016. It’s part of the very popular “Combat” lineup in the Spidi portfolio. The Combat family goes all the way back to 2001 and the original Motocombat H2Out jacket designed by Aldo Drudi. The Master Combat jacket has a military field jacket …

HD Speakers for Intercoms and Audio Devices The UClear Pulse Pro Headset and Pulse Pro Drop-In Speaker kits deliver superb audio. The HD (High Definition) sound extends from deep bass tones that can be felt in the helmet all the way to unwavering high tones. Whether you want an upgrade to the standard UClear headsets …

2016 BikeVis Bullets in Amber and White BikeVis Bullets are our favorite motorcycle conspicuity lights. They’re easy to install and connect and they use very little juice. But the design ensures that they’re very bright. And you can add a BikeVis PodMod Modulator (review) “twinkler” for each pair of lights for even more conspicuity. We’ve reviewed BikeVis …

The Packtalk for Smaller Groups The new Cardo Scala Rider Smartpack is nearly identical to the revolutionary Cardo Packtalk intercom system (review). The main difference is that the Smartpack system can connect up to 4 riders in the “Dynamic Mesh Network” rather than 15. Also, the Smartpack range in DMC mode is rated at 5 km …

Track Day With the New Continental Hypersport Tires The new Continental Sport Attack 3 is a tire designed for the aggressive street and track day rider. Is Comfy and Cheap Enough for Success? webBikeWorld published a review of the men’s version of the Roadgear H2O Tec gloves (review) way back in 2008. In that review, Burn described them as a “basic leather glove that’s roomy and comfortable” but not truly waterproof. We decided it was time for an update with the women’s version …

The MotoBatt SAE to DIN Adapter Cable With “Flex-Fit” Outlet Adapter This SAE to DIN adapter cable converts a Battery Tender type SAE plug to a DIN or “Euro” style (aka Powerlet) accessory outlet. It’s made by MotoBatt, one of the lesser-known motorcycle battery and battery accessory manufacturers. This one has at least two good …

A Color-Coordinated Mid-Size Top Case The new SHAD SH39 is a mid-sized top case with a maximized size-to-capacity ratio. Looks can be deceiving and the SH39 holds a lot of gear. Example: it easily swallows a full-face size XL helmet with room to spare. Its aerodynamic shape helps smooth air flow and it’s barely noticeable …
