Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

The Zephir Is A Super $169.00 Helmet Deal from the Helmet Gurus At Vemar The Vemar Zephir is a contender in the sub-$200.00 full face, all-around street helmet segment. It throws a lot of features into the mix, some of which are hard to find all in one place, especially at this price An internal …

El Estrecho “X” Para El Cráneo, This Arai Helmet Will Definitely Help You Stand Out In A Crowd “The Narrow X For The Cranium”. OK, so it’s my attempt at cuteness using a very limited knowledge of Spanish. But this new Arai Signet-X in the “El Cráneo” graphics does two things really well. First, it gets you …

Version 3 of the “Direct Air Hybrid Mesh” Jacket Combines Mesh with Solid Textiles for a Very Sturdy “full shell” Jacket The Direct Air Jacket V3 combines free-flowing mesh material with solid textiles in the impact zones. This makes the jacket feel a bit more sturdy than other “full shell” mesh jackets. But it does so …

Gore-Tex Dual-Sport Boots in Version 2 are still top of the Sidi Adventure-Touring boot lineup The Sidi Adventure Gore-Tex boots are at the top of the Sidi Adventure-Touring boot lineup. And the Sidi Adventure 2 Gore-Tex variant are arguably the best yet. The original Adventure Gore-Tex Boots (review) were so good that we just couldn’t pass up an …

The AirTool Pro vs. The Motorcycles The Specialized AirTool Pro floor air pump is built like a brick, uh, outhouse. It’s also expensive as all get-out. But this is the floor pump used by “Pro” level bicyclists. Or so I’m told… Only problem? The head or chuck that fits on the Schrader valve is nearly …

Soft, Waterproof Women’s Gloves: A Redux This is the third in a series of women’s motorcycle clothing reviews I’m doing, focused on Spidi motorcycle gear. Burn did a review of the men’s version of the Avant Garde gloves almost exactly one year ago in March of 2016. This review of the “Lady” version is meant …

The Newest Member of the Shoei Family The Shoei RF-SR is brand new to the lineup. It’s also the least expensive Shoei full-face helmet. But, it carries a lot of the Shoei DNA from helmets like the Shoei X-Fourteen (review) and Shoei X-12 (review). Shoei markets the RF-SR for both “street performance” and “long-distance touring comfort” and we …

The Bilt Techno 2.0 Helmet With Sena Intercom Is Solid, Comfortable & Well-Made Helmet With a Few Rough Edges The Bilt Techno 2.0 Sena Bluetooth Helmet is, as its name implies, the second generation of the Techno Bluetooth helmet concept. This Is REV’IT’s Mid-Range Adventure-Touring Jacket – Take 3 The REV’IT! Sand 3 jacket is, as the name implies, the third generation of a best-seller. We’ve been following the Sand series since the original REV’IT! Sand jacket review in 2010. That was followed up with the REV’IT! Sand 2 jacket we reviewed in November 2013. Now the Sand 3 …

Pilot Trans Urban Version 2 Brings Continues a Winning Formula of Loads of Value for a Very Reasonable Price The original version of the Pilot Trans Urban jacket we reviewed in 2013 was a wBW Product of the Year award winner. REV’IT! Discovery OutDry Boots Are Built To Last, High Quality Boots With the Cool Boa Lacing System The REV’IT! Discovery OutDry boots are the 2017 update of the REV’IT! The Discovery OutDry boots are good-looking adventure boots reflecting …

Mid-Range All-Arounders The REV’IT! Sand 3 pants are a continuing evolution of the original REV’IT! Sand pants (review). We first started reviewing the REV’IT! Sand series way back in 2010. In all that time, the Sand jacket and pants have proven to be among the most popular items in the REV’IT! lineup. That’s because they hit …

Can The Pilot Waterproof Over Pants Deliver In The Crowded Sub-$200 Category? We Try Them & Find Out. The Pilot Dura pants are basic motorcycle riding pants that function well. But they’re probably not equivalent to the Pilot Trans Urban V2 jacket (review) from a value perspective. Pilot has upgraded the knee protectors in the Dura pants …
