With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

SR10 Software Management Part 5: Software Management As lamented at the end of Part Two: Sena SR10 Features, a few issues and observations impacting SR10 functionality and performance remained outstanding, so I was really looking forward to the first firmware update. Nevertheless, continued use of both SR10 systems, along with a growing list of Bluetooth helmet …

SR10 Compatibility With Other Intercoms Part 6: SR10 Compatibility With the version 1.1 firmware incrementally loaded, I repeated most of the common pairing and functionality tests with the updated SR10 devices and Bluetooth headset systems. As applicable, observations regarding functionality and performance between the two firmware versions and the respective Bluetooth systems paired with the …

Motorcycle Repair DVD Yamaha R6 Repair by Sportbike How-To (As of June 2008, apparently no longer in business?) DVD ($59.95) More:  See the wBW Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair page and the directory of all webBikeWorld motorcycle repair articles Sportbike How-To has recently released a motorcycle repair DVD set for the Yamaha R6.  But don’t get put off by the specificity …

by: Aim Image Productions DVD (£24.99), 120 minutes with extras Filmed on location by the participants. More:  Mondo Enduro Terra Circa is the sequel to Mondo Enduro.  This is another fantastic tale and a story that all motorcyclists and non-motorcyclists alike will enjoy. As if the British Mondo Enduro concept wasn’t crazy enough, it had to be …

Mondo Enduro More: See the wBW review of Terra Circa, the sequel to Mondo Enduro This is a fantastic video, and it’s one of the most entertaining and incredible stories I’ve seen in a long time. The British have a long history of embarking on wild adventures to explore the unknown, and Mondo Enduro ranks right up there with …

Riding Solo to the Top of the World Filmed by Guarav Jani Available From: Cyclenutz DVD ($21.95), 94 minutes, NTSC Dolby Digital Stereo 2CH Yes, there’s a motorcycle in this video.  The bike plays a crucial role, but this is much more than another motorcycle adventure; it’s the story of a life-altering experience. It’s too bad …

The Budget Adventure Tourer Upgraded stator provides 50 more Watts of power for the DR650. That’s 25% more juice than the wimpy 200 Watts pumped out by the DR650 stock alternator at its maximum of 5,000 RPM. Does it make a difference? Hard to tell, but if you’re living on the edge, 50 Watts is …

Cycra Hand Guards Review It took four different sets of hand guards to figure out a solution for the DR650. The Cycra Probend CRM hand guards are not  the perfect solution and it takes a bit of customizing to get them installed, but they do the job. A good set of hand guards is a …

The Budget Adventure Tourer This will be a quick report, just to let DR650 owners that the original Steel Horse swingarm stand I reviewed back in 2006 also fits the DR650. The saddles on the stand adjust for width, so I brought them in a notch and it fits the width of the dual swingarm on the …

Suzuki GW250 Sport Screen Windscreen Review and Installation Exactly two weeks after I took delivery of the new Suzuki GW250 Inazuma, the “Polar Vortex” winter of ’13 set in. The Vortex has delivered the worst winter I’ve ever experienced here in the Mid-Atlantic. Besides constant sub-freezing temperatures, we also had more snow than usual and …

Suzuki GW250 Center Stand Review and Installation The Suzuki GW250 center stand accessory is a very nicely made part and it’s a perfect fit on the bike. The kit is easy to install with a bit of patience and some basic hand tools. The GW250 was apparently designed for a center stand, because the parts …

Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS Center Stand Review and Installation The Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS center stand accessory is another very nicely made part and it’s a perfect fit on the bike. Just like the Suzuki GW250 center stand (review), the V-Strom kit is easy to install with only an 8 mm hex wrench and a torque …

Protecting the Rear Master Cylinder Reservoir and Exhaust Valve on the 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS It’s questionable whether or not you need a brake reservoir protector and exhaust valve guard on the 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS. But one thing’s for sure: they look cool! And, since they’re made by SW-Motech, the parts are super …

Reading the webBikeWorld technical article about fitting a tachometer to a Moto Guzzi ‘Jackal’ got the old brain cells whirring. Since buying my Jackal I had really missed the benefits of a tacho and as it was my first Guzzi, I could only go by the sound and feel of the engine to tell me whether or …
