Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

My Bike Needs New Sneakers My 2018 Kawasaki Ninja H2SX SE eats its own feet, so to speak. Worn out Bridgestone Battlax rear tire These 200 horsepower, supercharged Ninjas are renowned for wearing out rear tires in less than 2500 miles regularly. By keeping my bike in medium power mode I was able to get …

The Brigade SVS Solid is a modular helmet. A modular helmet is defined as being a hybrid between an open face helmet and a full face helmet. They are sometimes referred to as convertible or flip face helmets. I tested this helmet using my 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. Please keep an eye out for …

REAX is a new line of gear from COMOTO, the parent company of RevZilla and Cycle Gear. Kevin went into who they are in a bit in his review of the Ridge jacket and you can check out their corporate site here to learn more about them. The high-level overview is that REAX is RevZilla’s …

In this article, I will be reviewing the first of three ZOX helmets, the Mikro Old School Solid. The Mikro Old School Solid is an open-face helmet. It falls in the category of a half helmet, sometimes referred to as a beanie helmet or a bucket. I tested this helmet using my 2008 Harley Davidson …

#welovemonster When it comes to Naked Sport Bikes, it’s undeniable that the Ducati Monster is one of the most iconic machines on the market and has been for the last 25 years. It has a look and sound that is undeniably “Ducati”. From the first introduction of the Monster in Cologne back in 1992 to …

The Right Tool For the Job Tool Snobbery Speaking as a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic I admit to being a bit of a “tool snob”. That doesn’t mean I must always use premium brand tools like Snap-On or Mac, but more that if there’s a tool available specifically for a task I want it in …

The chance to review these boots came at an opportune time. My old Alpinestars were starting to funk up the place, and so I was already on the hunt for a good-quality touring boot. Having learned my lessons with respect to cheaping out on gear years ago, my requirements placed safety and comfort above price. …

About AGV I’m a little embarrassed to admit how unfamiliar I am with AGV so I did a little research on them. Hopefully, I’m not the only one who will benefit from a brief intro to this Italian manufacturer. AGV or Amisano Gino Valenza has been around since 1946 making cutting-edge products for the world …

Introduction I have to admit that Scorpion helmets and the 400 series, in particular, are a bit special to me. Around ten years ago I was returning to motorcycling riding after a few years away from riding. When I purchased my new-to-me bike (a 2001 Kawasaki ZR-7s) I, of course, needed a new helmet. Around …

First, some background: REAX is a new riding apparel line recently launched by Comoto Holdings – that’s RevZilla and Cycle Gear to you and me. I am fortunate to have friends working within this group, who were willing to speak candidly with me about it, on the condition they be left anonymous. The gear is …

I take safety seriously and encourage ATGATT riding. From that perspective, the jacket is second only to a helmet in terms of safety and impact resistance. Having the right jacket can be the difference between bumps/bruises and skin grafts. When choosing, one should always prioritize the jacket’s ability to protect you over other factors. This …

Tuk Tested What Does Tuk Tested Mean? These gloves have been tested more thoroughly than any other piece of gear in WBW history to date (that I’m aware of). I just returned from a 5600-mile adventure ride while using the Atomic gloves mostly on the way home because the weather turned very hot in that …

Tuk Tested What Does Tuk Tested Mean? These pants have been tested more thoroughly than any other piece of gear in WBW history to date (that I’m aware of). I just returned from a 5600-mile adventure ride while using the Alter Ego 13 pants the whole way. Beginning from my home in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada …

A Great Experience with Packtalk Bold and Packtalk Slim Earlier this year I was offered the opportunity to test the Cardo Packtalk radio system. To be honest, I had never used a radio or communication system when riding and never really felt like I needed to get one. I have always liked the solitude that …

May 2019 update: we have tested the updated C4 Pro. Read our SCHUBERTH C4 Pro review here. A couple of months ago I tested the new Shoei Neotec II, and hot on the heels of that review is the latest modular from SCHUBERTH, the C4. Camparison article coming soon. SCHUBERTH is a household name for …
