Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Airetronics Motorcycle Air Bag Vest Review I’m always interested in learning about new products that have the potential for improving motorcycle rider protection and safety. I reviewed one of the first commercially available motorcycle “air bag” jackets last year, and I believe that the technology has promise. I seem to be in the minority on …

MFR vs. Bel-Ray Chain Lube and the Grunge Brush Review Non-sticky, clear chain lube. Leaves no residue, which may help prevent the buildup of grit. Claimed to work on both O-ring and non- O-ring motorcycle chains. Choosing a motorcycle chain lube is a controversial subject. It’s right up there with the continuing controversies about motor …

A Powerful Headlight for Working on Your Bike Powerful two-stage headlamp, made in the U.S.A. and with a lifetime warranty (that I have used!). The Princeton Tec Yukon headlamp is one of the most important tools in the webBikeWorld garage. LED headlamps have become an essential item around the webBikeWorld garage. A good quality headlamp …

Gerber Reactor 3 LED Flashlight Review LED technology is evolving at a rapid pace, and motorcyclists are reaping the benefits. LED taillight and brake light replacements are now fairly common and original equipment LED lights have appeared on motorcycles. They can’t come too soon — there’s no reason why every motorcycle shouldn’t have an LED brake …

REV’IT! “Motion” Jacket of REV’IT! motorcycle clothing, and with good reason.  In our opinion, REV’IT! makes some of the best quality, most skillfully designed motorcycle clothing on the planet. Our enthusiasm for the brand recently generated an email from a visitor who wrote that our REV’IT! clothing reviews were “obviously biased towards the product”.  Yep, we’re …

Insulated Pants Match Any Jacket The Roadgear Euro-Tec pants are comfortable, warm and waterproof. They’re also breathable. The lightweight padding is the compromise for comfort. You can’t beat a nice pair of textile overpants. Throw ’em on over your street clothes for your ride to work or down to the local hardware store. Granted, some …

Three Motorcycle Tire Air Pumps Reviewed The search for the perfect motorcycle tire air pump continues. Our goal?  To find a motorcycle tire air pump that has these characteristics: small, light weight, reliable, easy to stow on the motorcycle and easy to use. The correct tire pressure is crucial to the safe operation of a …

Biker Billy Cooks With Fire By: Bill Hufnagle Paperback: 260 pages Publisher: Whitehorse Press, October 15, 2004 ISBN: 1884313507 “Biker Billy” has created an industry with this book. Billy is the gastronomic editor for Cruising Rider magazine and the author of several other cookbooks. He’s appeared with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show (U.S.A.), with …

Discount Snell Approved Motorcycle Helmet Meets DOT and Snell standards. The size XL fits “Round” or “Earth” shaped heads best (see the Motorcycle Helmet FAQ). Light weight at 1426 grams. Flimsy top vent extractor is attached to helmet with double-sided tape. Verdict? Spend more and get more. Can a motorcycle helmet be too cheap…or rather, too …

Winter Motorcycle Gloves These 3M Thinsulate lined gloves keep my hands about as warm as any other winter or cold weather motorcycle gloves we’ve tried. The leather is a bit thin and there’s not much in the way of armor, but you can’t beat the price! I love finding bargains! 35 bucks doesn’t buy much …

A good torque wrench is an essential tool for even the most basic motorcycle maintenance and repair.  It’s important to ensure that all of the fasteners on a motorcycle are tightened to specifications for reasons of safety and to maintain its original design integrity. The the lightweight alloys used in motorcycles make it very easy to …

Ear Plug Comparison and Review Ear Plugs for Motorcycling For some reason, it’s not “cool” to be seen wearing ear plugs while riding a motorcycle. I know I probably sound like dear old Mom, but let me tell you something — it’s not cool at all to lose your hearing, and it’s really, really easy …

Roadgear Luggage Review The Roadgear tank bag, tail bag set is soft motorcycle luggage that works well for sportbikes. The smaller capacity tank bag and tail bag are very easy to mount and remove from the motorcycle. Simple design means that they’re easier to use. But, they are not waterproof. Roadgear provides a 10-year warranty. …

Soft, Comfy, Warm and Protective The Roadgear XCaliber jacket is very comfortable, including the collar lining. It has the new Schoeller Keprotec retro-reflective reinforcement material. It also includes plenty of features and pockets. CE-approved protectors are included. It also has a warm lining that seems to breathe better than other jackets. It’s also available in …

The Beemer Rider’s Uniform The Aerostich Darien is a nicely made jacket. It can be hot in the summer. The armor feels loose inside; the jacket does not have cinch straps on the arms. The collar pulls at my skin and the jacket isn’t as waterproof as I thought it would be. It’s also relatively expensive. Stop by …
