Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Pocket LED Flashlight for Deep Viewing I love flashlights, no doubt about it. I’m not sure why, either. I guess they bring back memories of my Boy Scout days and the motto “Be Prepared”. Surely a flashlight and a good knife are two of the absolute must-have items when preparing for any contingency. A modern …

Gerbings Heated Jacket Liner This review has been updated since it was originally posted. We tried the liner again with motorcycles having higher-capacity alternators and found that it works much better. Read the article for more information. Back in the old days, when men were iron and motorcycles burned castor oil, there was no such …

Let the Air Do the Insulating Thin, lightweight and well made. Vest can be inflated via a tube and uses air to act as an insulator. It works, but it’s expensive. We’re probably too late with our review of the BMW AirVantage vest. It was released by BMW some time ago, and it’s an interesting …

Glare “Spider” Swirl Remover Review Like the Glare Professional Polish (review), the Glare Spider Swirl Remover really does work. It takes a bit of “elbow grease”. And make sure you follow the directions to the letter. But when used in combination with Glare Polish as the final coat, you can restore the paint with most …

Formotion Spot Clock Review The Formotion Spot clock is a motorcycle clock. It is waterproof rated to 3 ATM. The Spot Clock has a rotating bezel and uses 3M double-sided tape to attach to a motorcycle fairing. It also has a stainless steel back and alloy case. Includes a sweep second hand and claimed vibration …

Motorcycle Tire Air Pump High quality pump has a unique flexible and retractable air hose that is useful for filling a motorcycle tire. The dual-action Mini-Versair pump works up to 20% faster than single-action pumps. Regular webBikeWorld visitors know that we’ve been hunting for the perfect motorcycle tire air pump for some time. The requirements …

Cycle Shell Motorcycle Garage Review The Cycle Shell is an alternative motorcycle garage. It is semi-portable and it comes in three sizes to fit most motorcycles. It has mildew-proof and waterproof fabric that is also resistant to ultraviolet light. The garage is vented to prevent moisture buildup. It can be permanently located and cover can …

A Motorcycle Helmet Storage Bag OK, so you bought that $800.00 SCHUBERTH S1 motorcycle helmet (review). Now where are you going to store it? You certainly can’t stuff a helmet like that in a greasy cabinet in the corner of the garage. That would be like parking a Rolls Royce in a carport! What to do? …

Proline Windjammer II Helmet Wind Blocker The Windjammer II is a unique product that can decrease motorcycle helmet noise caused by wind buffeting while also providing some extra warmth for cold weather riding. A majority of helmet noise can often be traced to the “dirty” air that causes buffeting up under the neck area of …

Storage For Your Face Shield Soft fleece bag to protect a spare motorcycle helmet face shield. Soft flannel, made in the U.S.A., fits just about any full-face motorcycle face shield. It has the Roadgear logo inscribed on a backing of 3M Scotchlite retro-reflective material, a nice touch. Makes a great holiday gift! Got a spare …

Roadgear “Boss” Gloves Review I’ve found my new favorite winter motorcycle gloves! The Roadgear Boss gloves are warm, comfortable, waterproof and windproof. They have a generously-sized gauntlet with a secondary wrist closure for security. An old pair of Belstaff winter motorcycle gloves had been my favorite for many years. They were very comfortable and they …

SCHUBERTH S1 SuperSport? The SCHUBERTH S1 has solid build quality and it’s relatively quiet. The large shell size (for XL) and thick neck roll are definitely a different feel. Words like “ultimate helmet”, “world’s quietest helmet”, “best helmet in the world”, “safest helmet” and more have been tossed around by exuberant marketeers in their descriptions …

Shark Race Helmet The Shark RSR is very expensive. It is relatively light at 1601 grams for a size XL. It is Snell certified and meets the ECE 22-05 and DOT standards. The face shield is very thick at 3 mm, yet it has outstanding optics. It also has an infinite adjustment for opening and …

Installing Fiamm Freeway Blaster Horns With a Dual Horn Relay Ready-made wiring harness and relay kit makes it easy to add a horn relay to power a set of motorcycle horns. Uses high-quality components. Adding a relay can improve the horn’s output and reduce load on switches. We covered the installation of the Eastern Beaver …

Installing an HID Motorcycle Headlight   Background High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting does not use the filament that is commonly found in normal automotive or motorcycle light bulbs. Instead, the bulb is filled with Xenon gas. The gas is ignited and creates an arc of light from the high voltage. The amount of light output …
