Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Joe Rocket Manta Tank Bag A compact, durable tank bag for everyday use. The magnetic base holds tight when riding and doesn’t require much effort to attach or detach from the fuel tank. Large enough to hold a couple drinks and other necessities, this bag is a must-have for motorcycle enthusiasts. Tank Bag Selection I …

Roadgear Sport Touring Tool Pouch As regular webBikeWorld readers know, I’m a tool fanatic, so any item or product that has to do with tools has my immediate attention. This definitely includes tool boxes, tool “rolls” or anything else related to storing or displaying my tools. In fact, I’m always searching for the “perfect” toolbox …

The Suomy D20 Flip-up The Suomy D20 is the company’s first attempt at a flip-up helmet. It feels solid and has a good surface finish and it’s available with several options. These include different size cheek pads and a Bluetooth communications system. Suomy helmets suddenly became very popular a few years ago in the U.S. …

Velocity Gear Metalwear Motorcycle Gloves Review Updated version of the original Metalwear gloves have a unique look. Plenty of metal, double wrist protectors and the same construction as the other Velocity Gear gloves that meet the ECE standards. We reviewed the original Velocity Gear SS Metalwear gloves in 2007. This 2009 version has been updated using the knowledge Velocity Gear …

Falco Podium Motorcycle Gloves Review Buttery soft leather is so pliable, the gloves feel like second skin. Lightweight and very comfortable, the Falco Podium gloves could easily become and all-time favorite. The concept of value is interesting and complex. To most people, value probably equates with the word “bargain” — but that seems too simple …

Clearwater “Glenda” LED Driving Lights High-quality motorcycle driving lights with all the benefits of LEDs add excellent visibility and surprising power for their size. Motorcycle lighting and the promise of improved visibility have been among the most popular topics for webBikeWorld reviews over the past 10 years. Check out the right-hand column on the page …

Velocity Gear Prodigy Motorcycle Gloves Review The Velocity Gear Prodigy gloves have many of the same protective features of the Formula race gloves, but with a slightly more subdued look. These are perfect for street riding or sport touring. They also meet the EN13594:2002 standards for resistance against cutting, tearing, seam burst and abrasion. If the Velocity Gear Formula …

Shoei RF-1100 First Look Note:  The Shoei RF-1100 is also known as the XR-1100 in Europe. After running a rather strange advertising campaign that introduced the helmets about one month before they were actually on dealers’ shelves, the new Shoei RF-1100 was finally released on October 1, 2009. We purchased an RF-1100 in the TC-1 …

Joe Rocket “Cleo” Women’s Gloves The Joe Rocket Ladies’ Cleo short gloves are made from mesh and leather for warm-weather riding. Leather reinforcements and high density padding provide added protection. Available in four colors, the Joe Rocket Ladies’ Cleo Gloves will fit any budget. The weather in Northwestern Montana is finally hot — for us …

Bionic Motorcycle Gloves Probably better for cruising than sportbiking, Bionic Gloves have some promise but they leave me underwhelmed. Whenever I happen to mention to a casual acquaintance that I ride a motorcycle, their response is usually “Oh, do you have a Harley?” That’s typical, at least in the U.S.A. When I tell them I …

Caberg Sintesi With Dual Homologation The Caberg Sintesi is comfortable and it has modern styling and many interesting features. It can be worn with the rotating visor down or up and it meets the ECE 22.05 safety standard for use in both positions. The helmet is very heavy, however, and our example also has a …

Nolan N43 Trilogy is the DOT Version of the N43 Air September 22, 2009 – Nolan Helmets has released a DOT version of the acclaimed N43 Air recently reviewed on webBikeWorld.com. As we noted in our review, the N43 Air meets the CE standards only. The N43 Trilogy meets DOT safety standards, but apparently it could …

A Handy Single AAA Battery Flashlight Review The Fenix E01 is super-small, lightweight and very well made. It has an all-aluminum machined body and it’s water resistant to IPX-8 (2 meters). It provides good illumination with rugged build and uses a single AAA battery. I’m always on the lookout for interesting new gadgets and gizmos …

Doc Allen’s Versatool The Versatool is a handy little screwdriver bit set with a unique multi-position drive handle. The handle provides different amounts of grip and torque. The entire package is about as small as it could possibly be. It fits easily in any shirt or jacket pocket or a Sportbike seat. It’s been over …

Icon Hooligan 54 Women’s Jacket Review The Icon Hooligan 54 is a fun — even a little flashy — women’s mesh jacket for hot days on the bike. An insulated, water-resistant liner warms it up for versatility, and CE-approved elbow and shoulder armor are necessities in case of the unexpected. I think leather offers the …
