Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

AGV T-2 Motorcycle Helmet Review The AGV T-2 is new for 2010. It’s one of two helmets in the AGV “Race” category and it uses many of the high-tech features of the AGV GP-Tech. It has excellent ventilation and build quality; a composite shell in three sizes similar to the GP-Tech; and a mix-and-match liner …

Motorcycle Chain Lube Comparison Special Report It’s been a fast two years since we last ran a motorcycle chain lube review (see our 2008 motorcycle chain lube review). These quick takes on chain lubes would more accurately be called overviews, because it’s virtually impossible to conduct any kind of truly objective rating or review of a …

HealTech Gear Indicator Pro With Advanced Timing Retard Eliminator When I bought my latest motorcycle, a Cagiva Raptor, it was a jump up going from a 600cc in-line four to a litre V-Twin and the completely different engine characteristics often left me wondering what gear I was in. This tended to manifest itself in my search …

Plastex Plastic Repair Kit Review They say there are two types of riders: those who have gone down and those who will go down. Figure on an accidental drop or two, or someone backing into your motorcycle. As your eyes survey the damaged plastics, your mind calculates replacement costs while your blood pressure skyrockets. Cracked …

Caswell Fuel Tank Sealer One of the more common problems encountered with seasonal equipment is the prevention of rust and corrosion activity during the off-season. Here in the Northeast U.S., we routinely store our lawnmowers, boats and motorcycles for extended months during the winter. While we would all prefer to have the use of a …

Original Bike Spirits Chain Lube The surprise chain lube in this group (at least to us) is the Original Bike Spirits brand chain lube. Something about the name of the company and their advertising led us to believe that the their products were going to be some type of average quality, re-labeled formulas designed for …

Go High Performance Chain Wax Quick Look Made in South Africa and endorsed by motorcycle racer Wayne Gardner, Go High Performance Chain Wax is described by the manufacturer as “a unique emulsion chain lubricant ideally suited to all motorcycle uses. Kal-Gard Moly Chain Kote Chain Lube Quck Look Kal-Gard is another name that has been around forever but is probably known only to enthusiasts and not the general public. The company makes an assortment of lubricants and the Chain Kote product shown here is the “moly” version, which contains molybdenum disulfide, a commonly used lubricant. …

DuPont Motorcycle Degreaser and Chain Cleaner Review   Background It must be chain cleaning and lubing season. That deduction is based on the number of emails that have been coming in recently. An All-Around Sport Jacket The 2010 AGV Sport Tempest is a good all-around jacket at a very reasonable price. It’s comfortable in cooler weather and it does a good job at keeping out moisture on casual rides. There are literally dozens of motorcycle jacket reviews that have been published on webBikeWorld over the years, with …
