Motorcycle Gear & Product Reviews for Over 20 Years

A Focus On Real Reviews

At wBW we focus on motorcycle gear reviews, including reviews of motorcycle parts, tools, motorcycle apparel, protective gear, electronics and more. We have been reviewing motorcycle products for over 20 years and are the most reliable source of unbiased advice on which products to buy. This is the main index for webBikeWorld motorcycle product reviews.

With over 2,000 motorcycle accessory, clothing and product reviews online and over 5,000 pages in the site in total, it’s hard to keep everything categorized, so please use the webBikeWorld search function if you have trouble. There are also 170+ book reviews, 300+ helmet reviews, 35 video reviews, 120+ technical, maintenance and repair articles, 100+ Special Reports, many Motorcycle Reviews and more always on the way.

Our Approach

We have partnerships with awesome retailers and manufacturers who kindly supply us with cool new products to test. We’re always talking to them about getting the latest information on motorcycle products, quizzing them about new things in the pipeline, generally annoying them with emails and cornering them at trade shows. That’s how we ensure we’re getting you the latest and greatest information and ensuring we can also get good gear to review for you guys.

wBW reviews are 100% independent and no matter who gives the helmet, jacket or gloves we guarantee that we will always tell you the good, bad and in between. We will tell you what we like and what don’t like. It is important to note that our reviews are comprehensive and detailed.

A typical review takes four to six weeks and is a real world, hands on process, tested by real riders our on the road. We typically include short running to the shop rides, long days of riding for hours on end, sound tests, drop tests and much more.

Eska Indianapolis Motorcycle Gloves Review Race gloves with the addition of a Gore-Tex membrane and Gore-Tex guarantee. Next in our five-part series on Eska products is this review of the Eska Indianapolis gloves, a not-so-distant relative of the Eska Indianapolis GTX gloves reviewed previously. It’s uncertain why Eska decided to also use the Indianapolis name for this part-mesh glove; …

Diadora “Xtreme” Motorcycle Boots Light and airy feeling, the Diadora Xtreme boots are for riders who are looking for comfortable, good looking and affordable racing boot. Why do motorcycle riders buy racing equipment? Do they ever go racing? Or do they really need the protection? I see many riders in full racing garb, even thought …

Sidi “Jasmine” Rain Boots Review They look like leather but these protective, waterproof motorcycle boots are made with Lorica. When it comes to shoes, I normally prefer leather — leather looks good, breaks in easily, breathes well, and is usually very durable. The Sidi Jasmine Rain Boots look like leather boots, and I had to …

Lee Parks DeerTours Motorcycle Gloves Review Unlike any glove you’ll find at your local shop.  Super-supple deer hide gives a “creamy” feel that you can’t get from typical bullskin. These are the gloves to wear on a coast-to-coast trip! “The hand is the cutting edge of the mind” Jacob Bronowski. Gloves is gloves, right?  Wrong! “In the old days”, …

Eska Indianapolis GTX Motorcycle Gloves Review Race gloves with the addition of a Gore-Tex membrane and Gore-Tex guarantee. Continuing with our five-part series on Eska gloves, we’ll turn now to the top-of-the-line Eska race glove, the Indianapolis GTX. Eska actually makes many dozens of different types of motorcycle gloves for street, sport, scootering and racing. The …

Eska GP Pro Motorcycle Gloves Review Full-featured motorcycle race gloves for street or track are also a good bargain. Next in our five-part review of Eska gloves is the Eska GP Pro. Please see the Eska H2 glove review for an introduction to Eska and some background on this nearly 100-year-old Austrian glove manufacturer. The GP Pro shares …

Nolan N90 Motorcycle Helmet Review Outstanding quality, relatively quiet, comfortable and with a few interesting safety/convenience features, the Nolan N90 is the flip-up to beat. We liked it so much, the Nolan N90 was named the webBikeWorld 2010 Flip-up Motorcycle Helmet of the Year! Nolan has been making flip-up helmets since, well, forever. So they know …

HJC IS-Multi Motorcycle Helmet Review The HJC IS-Multi is an interesting modular helmet that can be easily converted from a full-face to six other helmet types. The question is, do you need a 7-in-1 helmet? HJC now claims to be the “#1 in the World” and they didn’t get there by resting on their laurels. …

Nexx XR1R Carbon Motorcycle Helmet Review How do you make a good helmet btter? Easy: use that miracle of modern science, carbon fiber! The original version of the Nexx XR1R was one of the lightest full-face helmets reviewed on webBikeWorld.com and now the XR1R beats that. The XR1R Carbon is lighter than every other full-face …

Icon “Variant” Motorcycle Helmet Review The Icon Variant is comfortable, with better than average air flow through the top vents and excellent visibility. It’s my favorite of all the “Enduro” styled helmets I’ve worn so far. Adventure Touring motorcycle sales have continued to increase in many countries around the world, according to reports. That’s mostly …

Booster Plug Review A simple and effective leveraging of technology to mitigate many of the performance issues users cope with from modern lean-burn fuel-injected engines. A true plug-and-play device, the Booster Plug does not have or need an interface or dynamic controls. Read the installation sheet, plug it in and go riding. Like so many …

PowerFlare LED Emergency Light Review Not really a motorcycle product, but pretty cool nonetheless. The PowerFlare is a high-tech LED electronic safety beacon that replaces those nasty old (and dangerous) wax-covered emergency flares. It’s super rugged, highly visible and with 10 different LED light patterns, the PowerFlare is an interesting device…but it’s not cheap. I can’t …

A Magnetic LED Light Single white LED on a plastic ball covered with small magnets is more of a novelty than a serious flashlight. I discovered the Risk Racing Magnetic Light Mine whilst doing some background research for the PowerFlare LED Emergency Light (review). The Magnetic Light Mine is a small (approximately 40 mm across) plastic …

Shift Women’s Silhouette Jeans Review Ladies, you wanted it — now you can have it! The Shift Silhouette Kevlar-reinforced, stretch riding jeans are protective and sexy! Low-rise jeans with a women’s specific fit that hugs our curves; there’s no need to settle for men’s baggy riding jeans. ATGATT: All the gear, all the time. Many …

LD Comfort “DryLine” Shorts and Shirt Review Controls moisture somewhat better than cotton underwear, but I’m not sold on wearing them in hot weather. LD Comfort (LD = Long Distance?) underwear or “undergarments”, as they’re called by the company, is the latest underground hit with touring and adventure touring riders. Most owners swear by them, …
