The Focus Looks to be on Performance
Triumph’s Bobber already performed pretty well, much better than many people expected. Now the company is working on an updated model. Motorcycle News, recently shared a bunch of photos of the new bike and discussed the updates spotted on it.
First up, the fork was replaced with a set of adjustable Öhlins. When it comes to brakes, the bike gets Brembo M50 monobloc calipers. There’s also some new yokes and some clip-on handlebars. I think the clip-on handlebars look impossibly uncomfortable, but they likely make steering and handling a little more direct.
Motorcycle News notes that this could be the Bobber R, which would mean the engine received some love, too. However, there’s little to indicate from these photos that triumph did much to the engine. There are some Arrow mufflers on this tester, but that doesn’t ensure a power bump.
Another possibility is that this could be a future Triumph Factory Custom model. If this were to be the case, then it would receive a small bump in power as well as some special materials, parts, and components. Either way, I’m excited to see Triumph moving forward with this motorcycle. You can view more photos of the bike over at Motorcycle News via the link above.
A bobber with a top box lol.
I like the standard Bobber look. Badass.
