Ducati’s 2021 Multistrada V4 Comes With Two Akrapovič Exhaust Options

Titanium Exhausts For The Upcoming Multistrada V4

The upcoming 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 brings a ton of new features to the table. Today, we received the great news from Akra that the Slovenian Exhaust manufacturer will have two new racing exhaust systems ready to support the motorcycle when the bike is released this coming January.

Aftermarket exhausts always provide motorcycles with a bump in power and often a reduction in weight. These two new Akrapovič options are no different.

The first exhaust is the Racing unit, and it will come with a titanium sleeve, stainless steel silencer, and carbon fiber end cap. Akrapovič claims that this exhaust will add four horsepower to your 170HP V4 engine, bumping it up to a total of 174 horsepower. You will also see a 6 lb-ft gain in torque. Although the power numbers are great to see, the weight reduction is where the exhaust swap will truly shine. This exhaust system will also shed 11 pounds from the motorcycle.

If you’re in the market for a more subtle exhaust approach, the second option may be the one for you. This type-approved exhaust is constructed from titanium and features a carbon fiber cap; bringing your motorcycle approximately 1.5 pounds in weight reduction. You won’t be seeing any weight reduction with this exhaust if you are planning on putting git on the V4 S Sport, though, as that motorcycle already has a lighter system.

The full racing system will run you $3,200 while the type-approved (and less awesome) brother will cost around $1,700. Both of these exhausts are available directly from Ducati when you are configuring your motorcycle, so don’t waste any time or money by purchasing this down the line when you can get it fresh from the factory when your new ADV bike rolls off the lot.
