Helping Keep You Cool This Summer With Our Hands On Reviews Of the Best Motorcycle Cooling Vests
Most people think the only way to stay cool while riding during the summer is a well ventilated motorcycle jacket. For anybody who lives in really warm summer weather like us, we know that a jacket with vents can only do so much. Don’t sweat it (yes, i know), we’re here to tell you about the secret, little known world of motorcycle cooling vests.
Cooling vests are a pretty simple concept. Basically, evaporative cooling vests soak up water and then release it over time to help carry away excess body heat. Evaporative cooling is the same way our bodies work so it works really well. The hot air causes the water stored in the vests to evaporate, thereby drawing heat away from you body and cooling you down.

Riding into London city during the summer in full motorcycle gear in traffic was getting me cooked. So I made an active cooling system, by pumping thermoelectrically cooled water to an under jacket lined with tubing. I placed a small rotary control on the instrument panel to dial up more cooling when required – it works. A bonus is that this system provides hot fluid to the jacket in cold weather, I just turn the dial clockwise from center to control the heat supply. All I need now is someone to manufacture the system. so that you can get the benefit of active cooling. I have the patent, USA, UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain.
Do you need prototypes or full on manufacturing? There are places in West Virginia that are not expensive but have good quality. I know the tech you’re using and it’s reasonable to think that this is a good system. Let me know what’s up.
