The Bigger Bonneville: The 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120
Contents
Triumph’s Bonneville T120 is a British motorcycle designed for riders who want to enjoy the rich heritage of Triumph’s Bonneville range but want more displacement and more performance. In short, the T120 is an uprated Bonneville and the biggest Bonneville in the 2021 Triumph line-up.
Unlike most of the other Bonnevilles from Triumph Motorcycles, the T120 comes equipped with a larger engine. Rather than a 900 cc unit, it features a 1200 cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve, parallel twin Bonneville engine that produces an impressive 80 horsepower and 77 lb-ft of peak torque. That power is kept under control with modern riding aids such as Ride-by-Wire, switchable traction control, Road and Rain riding modes, a torque-assist clutch, and ABS.
Though it’s mainly designed for heritage-inspired riding, the modern T120 packs a surprising number of modern amenities. These include an LED DRLs and rear light, heated grips, a passenger grab rail, a USB charging port, and an immobilizer. For riders looking for more, Triumph offers more than 160 additional accessories in its catalog.
For 2021, the Triumph Bonneville T120 is available in four color options: Fusion White and Aegean Blue, Storm Grey and Baja Orange, Silver Ice, and Jet Black. An additional model, the Triumph Bonneville T120 Black is available with a blacked-out aesthetic.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 starts from $11,850 USD / $13,250 CAD.

Combining Triumph’s signature ride dynamic of neutrality, agility, and stability with advanced levels of comfort and control, for an engaging yet easy-going experience.
COMFORTABLE AND PRACTICAL

THRILLING ENGINE
The authentic character of the Bonneville T120 comes to life through the 1200cc ‘high torque’ 8-valve parallel twin engine.
Built specially for the modern classic motorcycle riding style, with immediate and exciting power delivery, it produces a massive peak torque figure of 77 FT-lbs at a low 3,100rpm – an amazing 54% more than the previous generation Bonneville. With a power output of 80HP at 6,550rpm, 18% up on the previous engine, the 1200cc delivers much more power lower down and across the whole rev range, with 50% more power at 4,500rpm. With the pinpoint accuracy and instant throttle response of Triumph’s latest generation ride-by-wire fuel-injection and engine management system, the six-speed Bonneville T120 is engineered with a charismatic tone and 270° firing interval for a smooth linear power delivery.
BEAUTIFUL STYLE
The Bonneville 1200cc engine profile has been beautifully styled with a high level of detailing and finish, like the machined engine fins, incorporating key heritage styling cues from the legendary 60s Bonneville motorbike engine silhouette whilst incorporating contemporary components sensitively to maintain that iconic and authentic look.
BEAUTIFUL SOUND
With elegant twin peashooter style exhausts following a clean straight line header pipe run, the Bonneville T120 delivers the true sound of a British Twin, a deep and rich note that truly matches its character, tuned to a level you would want and expect.
