The Special Edition Motorcycle You Didn’t Know You Wanted
Norton Motorcycles is one of the most iconic brands in the entire industry. Breitling Watches is a fitting counterpoint in the watch and timepiece industry. It makes a lot of sense they would both decide to team up. At an event in New York City, the companies launched their collaboration. Andrew Capone of Motorcycle.com got to spend some time at the event and discuss the new bike and watches with Norton’s CEO.
“Breitling and Norton Motorcycles share a strong heritage. Both were founded in the 19th century by visionaries who gave their names to their companies and, to a large extent, defined their industries,” said Stuart Garner. The results of the two companies teaming up are a Norton Breitling Edition Norton Commando 961 and the Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Norton Edition.
Norton will build only 77 of the special edition motorcycle. The bike is truly stunning with a cafe racer style and the Breitling “B” engraved on the clutch box and another “B” stitched into the saddle. The bike also gets a silver and black livery. It will cost about $20,900. The event was actually back in March of this year, but the remarks from Garner were just recently published.
