Mick Walker turns out lots of trade books, and some of them seem to be compilations of material from various sources. But when you’re restoring a motorcycle, I’ve found that any and all books can be valuable.
Sometimes there are bits and pieces of information that, when linked together from across various resources, can make the difference between a successful or unsuccessful restoration.
In fact, part of the fun of restoring a bike is solving the mystery of how certain assemblies or accessories look or go together, and sometimes it takes many books, photos and more to figure this out.
This book has many photos, drawings and other information that are helpful when used with other sources. No, you probably can’t fully restore a BMW just by reading this book, but it’s a nice resource to have handy anyway.
