The Sporty Scrambler: Ducati’s Scrambler 1100 Sport/ Sport Pro
Contents
The 2021 Ducati line-up features a number of interesting heavyweight Scrambler options for the new year, with two of the most exciting being the Scrambler 1100 Sport and 1100 Sport Pro. They both feature the classic lines and elegance more associated with sportier Ducati motorcycles and marry them to a rugged aesthetic. If you’re looking for a sleek ride to conquer the urban jungle on, one of these will more than do the trick.
The heart of the Sport and Sport Pro is a tried and tested Italian-made 1,079cc Desmodromic L-twin engine that produces a hearty 86 horsepower and 65 lb-ft of torque. Naturally, both come equipped with all of the standard bells and whistles found on other Ducati motorcycles, including cornering ABS, selectable ride modes, and more.
Ducati’s Scrambler 1100 Sport doesn’t receive any updates for 2021, but the more expensive Sport Pro does. The most notable of these is a slightly tweaked engine and a more commanding twin-muffler. The result makes no difference to the engine’s power outputs though. It’s just a tweak for Euro5 emissions regulations.
For 2021, both the Scrambler 1100 Sport and 1100 Sport Pro are available in a single color option: Viper Black.
The 2021 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport starts from $15,095 USD / $17,895 CAD.
