2021 MV Agusta Dragster 800 Rosso: A Dragster’s Introduction
Contents
The 2021 Dragster Rosso is the first step when getting into the Dragster family and is priced as such. It comes in at a lower cost when compared to its RR brother – meaning that it’s a great option for riders seeking the MV Agusta streetfighter experience without paying the premium.
Although you save some money on the bike overall, you do lose some benefits as a result. The motorcycle’s 798cc inline-three engine has been detuned and as a result, sheds a total of 30 horsepower to bring the total power figures to 110 horsepower and 61.2 l-ft of torque. Along with power, you also sacrifice those amazing spoked wheels found on the full RR edition as they are swapped out for traditional cast wheels.
Beyond the detune and some small aesthetic changes, you’ll still have the comfort in knowing that the Italian company doesn’t cut corners when it comes to their “entry-level” motorcycles. Much of the same tech found on the $30k MV Agusta motorcycles in their 2021 lineup make its way across the entire lineup of bikes.
This motorcycle features the same tech features that stretch across many of their motorcycles for the 2021 model year. Bosch ABS (that features rear-wheel lift-up mitigation), an updated ride-by-wire system, and 8-level adjustable traction control.
The 2021 MV Agusta Dragster 800 Rosso starts at $15,630 USD / $12,990 EUR.
