The Low Slung Bonneville: The 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber
Contents
Despite being a British-made motorcycle, the Triumph Bonneville Bobber has all the attitude and character of a genuine bobber motorcycle. It’s one of the meanest models in the 2021 Triumph line-up, and arguably one of the most exciting Triumph motorcycles in the last few years. It’s a low-slung machine built for capable cruising and minimalist maneuvering.
The Bobber draws power from the larger Bonneville engine. The 1200 cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve, parallel-twin unit produces an impressive 77 horsepower and 78 lb-ft of peak torque, making for an exciting and thrilling ride experience. Though it boasts minimalism, the Bonneville Bobber has a surprising number of innovative riding aids.
Chief among these include ABS and switchable traction control, Ride-by-Wire technology, two dedicated riding modes (Road and Rain), a torque-assist clutch, LED lighting, and a sophisticated single-clock instrument.
But that’s not all. The Bobber also boasts an expertly engineered under-seat mono-shock suspension system, a floating aluminum seat pan, and a fully-adjustable seating position.
For 2021, the Triumph Bonneville Bobber is available in four color options: Korosi Red and Silver Ice, Khaki Green, Morello-Red, and Jet Black. An additional model, the Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black is available with a blacked-out aesthetic.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber starts from $11,950 USD / $13,750 CAD.
