2The 2021 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso: Sport Touring Between Cities In Style
Contents
The 2021 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso is the big brother of the Turismo Veloce 800 Rosso, the company’s entry level city tourer. It is powered by the same 798cc inline-three, with 110 HP and just about 60 lb-ft of torque. Where it differs, however, is in the design intent of the model.
While the Rosso is meant for the city streets, the Lusso (literally: “Luxury”) is all about long distance sports touring in enormous comfort, with all the tech and safety systems you need along the way. The bike comes equipped with removable saddlebags, a thicker seat and pillion cushion, and a dynamic suspension system that is semi-adjustable and adjusted automatically as you ride by the chassis dynamic stability system.
Other features from the Italian manufacturer include Brembo dual-zone ABS with a control system by Bosch that mitigates rear wheel liftoff under heavy braking, working alongside an 8 stage stability and cornering control system. Heated grips, Bluetooth 5.0, electronic cruise control, GPS sensors, a central stand, and an adjustable windshield are all included.
The 2021 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso starts at approximately $23,000 USD / $29,200 CAD, as it is listed in Euros (€18,990).
