The 2021 Freeride EX-C by KTM Motorcycles is one of those generation defining bikes. Easily capable of both Motocross-E and Rally-E cross country races, it is also a competent and usable trail riding bike, as well as a get-you-around-your-huge-farm bike. All powered by electricity. The motor in the EX-C is roughly equivalent to a 125cc single, producing 24 HP at maximum output.
This European company has invested heavily into electrification, mostly due to the emerging arena of electric motocross and electric supercross. To keep that racing mindset, the bike comes with WP XPLOR 43 front suspension, and WP XPLOR PDS rear monoshock. The battery also holds 3.9 kWh of capacity, good enough for at least a couple of hours of trail riding, or about 45 minutes of motocross or supercross riding. New for 2021 on the bike is the inclusion of FORMULA brand brakes, for the extra stopping power race brakes provide.
