Ducati After Dark: The All-New 2021 Ducati Scrambler Nightshift
Contents
The Nightshift is the latest Scrambler addition to the 2021 Ducati line-up. It’s a brand-new model that’s part-street tracker, part-café racer, and all attitude. It’s called the Nightshift because it has been designed for aggressive nighttime urban prowling, with a sleek bare-bones look and a dominating road presence.
Like the majority of the Ducati Scrambler range, the Nightshift draws power from Ducati’s mid-size Italian-made Scrambler motor: an 803cc Desmodromic L-twin unit that produces an impressive 73 horsepower and 49 lb-ft of torque. Ducati has also treated it with cornering ABS, traction control, and everything else you’d need for enthusiastic city riding.
Boasting narrow handlebars, bar-end mirrors, a racing number plate, spoked wheels, premium LED lighting, and the lack of a conventional rear mudguard, it’s fair to say that the Nightshift is an unorthodox blend of a variety of other Scrambler models. However, it’s far from a mess. The result is the perfect mix of other Ducati motorcycles and their character traits—and at an affordable price point.
For 2021, the all-new Scrambler Nightshift is available in a unique “Aviator Grey” color option.
The 2021 Ducati Scrambler Nightshift starts from $10,995 USD / $12,595 CAD.
